OUR STORY
About Track Tech
Built by enthusiasts. Driven by performance.
How It Started
Track Tech Motorsports started the way most real shops do — in a garage, with a car that wasn’t fast enough. What began as a personal obsession with making Japanese and German imports faster on track turned into a shop for performance, service, wheels and tires, and track prep serving the Los Angeles area.
We’re not a volume shop. We take the time to understand how you use your car, on the street, at the track, or off the pavement, and recommend work that fits it.
THE MECHANIC
James
James has been building track cars for 15 years. He started wrenching on Hondas in high school and never stopped. Over the years, he expanded into the German performance world — BMWs, Porsches — learning each platform inside and out.
What sets James apart is that he’s not just building your car — he’s driving his own. He puts his builds through real track sessions at Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, and Streets of Willow. That time on track informs the setups he recommends.
He’s not here to sell you parts you don’t need. He’s here to build you a car that makes you faster.
